Allen-Bradley 1762-OF4 Analog Output Module
The 1762-OF4 is an Analog Output Module manufactured by Rockwell Automation under the Allen-Bradley brand, designed for the MicroLogix series of controllers. This module provides four (4) single-ended analog outputs, making it suitable for various control and automation applications. It operates on a 24 Volts DC input power supply and supports analog signals in the normal operating ranges of 0-10 Volts DC and 4-20 mA.
The output range of this module is 0-10 Volts DC, with full-scale analog ranges extending to 0–10.5 V DC and 0–21 mA, allowing precise control and flexibility. The module uses an R-2R Ladder Voltage Switching converter type to produce accurate analog outputs with a resolution of 12 bits (unipolar).
The typical overall accuracy of the 1762-OF4 is ±1.17% full scale across a wide temperature range of -20°C to 65°C (-4°F to 149°F), improving to ±0.5% full scale at room temperature (25°C/77°F). It offers excellent repeatability of ±0.12%, ensuring consistent performance during operation.
With compact dimensions of 90 x 87 x 40 mm (HxDxW), this module fits well in tight control panel spaces. It dissipates approximately 2.8 Watts of heat during operation. For optimal signal quality and noise immunity, the recommended cable to use is the Belden 8761 (shielded).
